Metric Engineering, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Veronica Benitez, Psy. D as Chief Executive Officer of the firm.
Veronica has been part of the Metric family, literally, for all her life. At a milestone in Metric’s history, our 45th year in business, founder Victor M. Benitez, P.E. feels confident that Veronica is poised to take on a senior leadership role within the family business.
“I’m fully confident that with the support of the entire Metric family, Veronica will continue the traditions, culture, and strong work ethic that make us who we are today, while forging ahead with new initiatives, renewed energy, and a fresh perspective that will take Metric into a new era of success,” states Victor.
Veronica has been working closely with Victor and President Manny Benitez, P.E. over the past several months, and more recently, the senior management team, as she steps into her new role. Victor will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board, and Manny will continue in his role as President.
As we celebrate our 45th year, Veronica has expressed that she wants to keep Metric strong and moving forward…promoting the values that make Metric a unique place to work, while carrying on our vision of innovation and growth. “I truly want to create and support a community and work family that will prioritize loyalty, integrity, and honesty as part of our company culture,” she states. She is excited to get to know as many of the Metric team as she can, “moving forward as a more unified whole.”
Veronica earned her Doctor of Psychology degree from Nova Southeastern University and will be based in the Miami office.
